This beauty is really special because it is one of the earliest P1800's that rolled off the band the first year..

One of the first 500!

Not only that, it also belongs to the first 500 cars ever built by Jensen in West Bromwich England and therefore has a 3 digit chassis number. And, this P1800 is one of the first 10 pieces, which were intended as a show model, to be delivered to the Dutch Volvo dealers. There they stood on a round platform where it could be ordered by the customer.

The first examples were available in only 3 color schemes: red with white interior, gray with red, or white with red. In its original color combination white (69) with red trim (301) and complete with all the different parts that distinguish these cars from the later ones built in Sweden.
